Description
The 3D HoofCare Half Mesh Hoof Pad is designed to stop the frog descending to the ground through peripheral loading of the hoof wall that results in tissue damage, painful heels, and possible corns.
The 3D HoofCare Half Mesh Hoof Pad is best used in conjunction with a digital impression material to help re align the hoof pastern axis angle. The 3-degree angled wedge pad can be used to artificially raise the hoof angle when conformation or injury needs assistance when the hoof angle is low relative to the pastern angle.
The 3D HoofCare Half Mesh Hoof Pad is designed to be used in a controlled pasture and riding environment that has no stones to puncture the exposed sole area.
The pads help horses that need bony column support, such as laminitic horses, and help the frog to share a portion of the load, reducing load placed on other areas of the hoof. These pads help maintain the position of the frog relative to other structures of the hoof.
Sold as pair.

No bullshit, these work.

I prefer these to the EE because it offers more protection. I don’t work with racehorses so protection is more important than saving weight.

Thanks for the encyclopedia! Your info and demo videos made me very confident to buy from you.

I love this Hoof Pad! I have a horse prone to laminitis, and the Hoof Pad has really helped him. The Youtube demonstration I saw from the founder (I forget his name) explains it so simply that the frog support helps to share the load across the entire hoof. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing it or the hoof cast. I’ll leave a review for the hoofcast too cos they’re a great combo for support and protection. Thanks for your help!

The sizing chart on your site is too hard to understand even if you can easily trim the excess from the pad. Please fix that. But I was happy with your help on the phone. I didn’t expect you to be real horse people. It’s hard to tell on the web sometimes. Enjoyed the chat. We got the right size in the end!

My farrier only did traditional shoes no pads or nothing. So I got these pads from you so he couldn’t excuse. He wasn’t happy but the old dog learned a new trick. hahaha

Be aware these work best with hoof packing. I was lucky because I already had some but you might not. The orange bucket on here isn’t what I used. I’ve always used the equiflex but I’ve heard your stuff is better cos it has more working time before it sets so is easier to use. Will check it out next time. Good products on here so I expect the Shufill is the same quality.

This pad helps him so much! It’s really easy to put on, and it helps distribute the weight evenly. It also helps the frog to share the load, which reduces the pressure on other hoof structures. I would definitely recommend this pad to anyone with a horse that needs bony column support!

My farrier didn’t stock this brand and hasn’t really used support pads so he was a bit sceptical but I’ve seen them used before and heard good things. You know what farriers are like; he’s old school and stubborn. But I insisted because my horse was constantly sore. It’s only been 3 weeks and she’s a new horse! So I had to leave a review to thank you. BTW my farrier said he’ll contact you about a trade account because he’s convinced now too. Does that mean I get a referral discount??

I’m impressed. I have a horse recovering from laminitis and chronic inflammation, and he needs a lot of support. I’d used moulded pads before but they put uneven pressure which defeats the purpose. It has been 5 weeks and it’s like he’d never had an issue! I also used the Decron gel to reduce the swelling and used the hoofcast but without any glue (because he’s currently spelling) so the combination was very effective.

Does the job when she’s working the harder ground which is what causes the swelling. Didn’t bother with anything else just a quick and effective solution when shoeing. No fuss. Job done.

would recommend.

Was disappointed to learn it needs the hoofpacking. If I’d known I would have bought both in the bundle deal which looks like great value. I’ll do that next time but everyone should be aware of that if you buy both anyway.

Farrier here. Your fast shipping saved me. Was delivered the next morning so it saved me a double trip. Win.

I couldn’t believe how fast shipping was. You must of packed my order as I was doing it! Seriously impressed given where I live and the usual delays due to covid.
